About Mr. Deloach

Hello! I assume that you have made it to this page because you are looking to find out more about me. I am a Harris County native. I graduated from Harris County High School in 2006. In December 2010, I graduated from Columbus State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. My major was Middle Grade Education with concentrations in Math and Social Studies. I obtained my Master in Education from CSU in May of 2013. My major was Middle Grades Education with concentrations in Math and Social Studies. On December 16, 2017, I graduated from Columbus State University with my Education Specialist in Educational Leadership.

I completed my student teaching at Richards Middle School during the Fall semester of 2010. From January 2011 until December 2011, I was a Muscogee County School District substitute teacher. I have 3.5 years of official teaching experience. My official teaching career began on December 12, 2011 at Blackmon Road Middle School. I taught 7th grade math and social studies at BRMS until May of 2012. At the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year, I began my tenure at North Columbus Elementary School. This will be my sixth year teaching NCES. I was named 2016 NCES Teacher of the Year.

Prior to teaching, I worked at Fox's Pizza Den (1 year at the restaurant in Cataula before it was moved to Columbus in 2005). I spent six of my eight years at Fox's serving as the Assistant Manager.

I am truly blessed to have the opportunity to teach at a wonderful school. My goal is to make a difference in the lives of the students that I teach while providing them with the necessary tools to be successful in math and productive citizens.
